Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning
The Center for Engaged Teaching & Learning (CETL) works for change in the teaching and learning environment at Kentucky Wesleyan College, serving as the catalyst for increasing active-learning experiences and community engagement throughout the curriculum and through co-curricular activities. CETL works with faculty, staff and students to design engaging, significant, and meaningful learning experiences in and out of the classroom. CETL staff provide leadership and support for a wide range of high-impact practices such as active-learning pedagogies, service learning, undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activities, problem/inquiry-based learning, collaborative/cooperative learning, study abroad, and pro-active advising.
